and.... fail  
New computer, installed WoW, froze reliably shortly after logging in. try reseating everything, now the mother board beeps with what we think is "can't find video card" error beep.

So I gambled. I lost.

I ran into something similar when I put my computer together.

Take the video card out. Put it back in. Boot up with the monitor in the lowest resolution you can manage. Then download new drivers for everything.


Some motherboards, like asus, have a LED display which shows numbers as it starts up. When it beeps and fails, look at the number - use another computer to find it on the internet.

Reseat the memory?

Just guessing -- there's beeps that mean bad memory.

The specific beep pattern means can't infd a video card.
