Poll #698802 Daily show

Would you appear in a daily show corespondant report?

What's the daily show?

"corespondant report" is one of the predone pieces done by one ofhte other comedians, usually on location. Often introduced by saying " filed this report."

I know better... ;-)

I think I'd almost rather have been interviewed
by the ISN crew in the B5 Episode And Now For a Word.

For me, the question is "Is being on a widely-seen TV show worth being made fun of?" I think the answer is yes, but the fact that I know the Daily Show is entertainment is key. I would make the same calculation about appearing on, say, Bill O'Reiley's show, and since the goal there is rabble-rousing, I wouldn't do it.

I think it would depend significantly on the topic at hand. Why were they interviewing me, and how are they going to make fun of me? If I'm the one that's going to be made to look the fool, then I'm less interested than if I'm the one who looks sane. But it's The Daily Show, so who knows what they're real story is? ;)

depends on the manner in which they intended to make fun of me. which i probably couldn't tell in advance, so i'd probably decline.

same here. there are certain aspects of my life that I mock myself, so I would be perfectly happy to have TDS mock them. But there are other aspects I take much more seriously and it just wouldn't be worth it.
