Slow news day  
I wouldn't say this, except that I really don't have much news.

I think sucessfully ordered a wii today with out and price hiking thanks to this site and a few rounds of "add to cart" "check out" item has been removed from cart, no longer in stock "reload page" "add to cart" (repeat)

Also crs has amazing powers of reservation expansion and is awesome!

wow! it's still that hard to catch a wii... I'm so glad my mom tracked one down for me in Virginia earlier this year.

Awesome. I've seen that amazon.com occasionally gets a supply, but they go out of stock in 10 minutes. A friend once IM'd me the link during one of those 10 minutes, so I tried to order -- it said "in stock" -- but it brought up a page saying that it was out of stock. I tried a couple more times (the main product page still said "in stock"), but the cart always came up empty, so I gave up. Then a minute later the product page finally said "out of stock". I assume that the product page was just slow to update, but your experience shows that retrying can eventually pay off. Congrats!

It turned out good that I didn't order from amazon, anyway, because I went that weekend and got one from Circuit City, which is before an order would have arrived in the mail.
