Just wondering?
Does anyone else make private posts that are just sort of life notes that they think would bore everyone else?

You forgot "no, because I'm a bit of a security paranoid and trusting such to a site not under my control has no appeal".

when the threat model is "i might bore people by mistake" i'm not too worried about writing private notes :)

I'm not sure what they could do with my "secret" that I finished a draft of a taiko song...

I'm not sure what's so private about that; it's about in line with what I see many people put publicly in their journals. (Then again, not seeing why to bother recording non-earth-shattering stuff is one reason I've more or less stopped writing in my own.)

It's not private, it's boring. that's what the post was about. Making things private just because you're talking to yourself, not because you're telling your insecure diary your secrets.

I never worry about boring my friends because my life is so amazingly exciting that I know they're all riveted to their chairs waiting for the next installment...

Ok, really, I do post boring crap and I usually say it is boring crap and I put it behind a cut tag... and people read it anyway! I know 'cuz they comment on it :)

One man's boring is another man's action thriller?

No, but you're not weird.

Thank you! I was wondering about all these people who supposedly know me calling me not weird!

No, and you're not weird.

Even if you insist you are. :)

I think you're weird :) in a good way
Coscos on April 14th, 2008 08:56 pm (UTC)
How about a "No" without "you're weird"? I don't find it weird at all, but I never do it.
