2014 and 2015
2014 has been an bittersweet year for me. Quitting taiko (which I still need to write a post about), which I loved and still love ONE, but also exploring some wonderful new possibilities.

2015 is going to be all about my new chapter. Exciting and scary to have a lot of choice in what I could do, trying to figure out what I want and what I need. I feel I have more tools at my disposal than I ever have had in my life, but also so much freedom that it might be down right overwhelming, but underneath it all will be a search for what is just things I've been programmed to want and what things I can't avoid and the search for how far the chasm between what I want to be doing and what I'm able to do actually is.

Do I fall back to the relatively safe places of what I'm trained to do, or can I find the patience and the daring to try aim for something I might be horrible at?

Most importantly I have to be amazingly careful in how I define success. I cannot fall into my old trappings. Progress is more important than goals.

Good luck, and thank you for making me part of your life.
